Inn the beginning
there was a small hotel located on the main street in our little town of New Roads. There begins the story of our little inn on False River. We began in 1926, and are still serving customers today in the tradition of comfort, quiet and peaceful living. Buddy Morel creates lamps from fine balustrades collected from around the world, including France, England, and Italy. They date from the turn of the century back to well before the eighteenth century. Many of his lamps are made from other fine collectibles such as antique finials and fine garden ornaments. »
